Healthcare Day provides the Youth Leadership students the opportunity to enrich their understanding of healthcare and emergency services through dynamic presentations, including a hands-on demonstration of how emergency workers respond to a deadly car crash (no students were harmed in the course of the presentation!), emergency trauma training at Doctor’s Hospital, and a tour of Augusta University Hospital.
